A trending video showed the moment hell was let loose at a wedding in Port Harcourt after the bride owned up to having four kids.
It was not clear whether the man hinted about the kids and confronted the bride or it was the bride tho decided to get the burden off her mind just before their vows.
The commotion was already ongoing before the recording started.
The bride is seen wailing on the ground while the groom is speaking angrily and attempting to walk away, while some men are trying to appease him.
The chief’s bridesmaid and some ladies holding what appears to be the wedding programme in their hands can be seen struggling fruitlessly to lift the bride off the ground.
Some women are repeatedly asking the bride, named Linda, what happened, but she is just wailing and repeating, “I’m finished oh!”
Some of the men who appear to be friends of the groom loudly tell him: “You cannot embarrass her like this”, to which the groom replies: “Four years, and she just dey tell me! She just dey tell me. She said she has four kids. She’s just telling me!”
One person says regardless of the information, it is not the best way to handle the situation. “You can forgive her,” he says.
But the groom keeps repeating “She’s just telling me.”
It is not clear if he finally agreed to go ahead.
