“Na mumu dey love. I’m getting married for money” says Bride-to-be

A woman, Habiba Gado, took to Facebook to share photos believed to be from her pre-wedding shoot but what caught attention was the caption she used.

“I’m getting married for money,” she wrote. “Nothing concern me with una nonsense.”

She then added the hashtag “Na mumu dey love.”

It is not clear if she is joking or not and she has not shared a follow-up post to clarify, despite her post getting over 2,000 reactions.

In another post, she said she was not told that her friends would be giving her money just because she was getting married. She claimed if she had known that earlier, she would have been long married.

Her fiance also shared their pre-wedding video with the same “Na mumu dey love 2022” hashtag.

Many of her followers saw her as cruising (joking) while others warned her against building their union on a faulty foundation.

One wrote: “Not smart revealing her plans. Even if na joke”

Another said: “😆🤣😂 She’s just being real sha o”
