Man whose car was impounded by Task Force breaks down in tears as it’s auctioned for less than N400k (video)

A resident of Lagos State whose car was impounded and auctioned for far less than he bought it, was filmed weeping and the video has been shared online.

Lagos State government on Thursday, September 15, auctioned some cars that were earlier impounded for various traffic offences.

At the venue where the cars were being auctioned, one of the owners of the impounded cars broke down in tears as he witnessed his car being auctioned for less than N400, 000.

The vehicles were impounded by the state’s task force for flouting traffic regulations, especially for driving against traffic. The offenders were earlier charged to a mobile court and their vehicles were forfeited to the government.

The impounded cars were auctioned and given to the highest bidders.
