Nigerians react to picture of APC Chairman dragging Tinubu ‘disrespecfully ‘
A picture of the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Adamu, dragging the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, by the hand is generating massive reactions online.
Many tweeps commented that Adamu was disrespectful dragging the candidate like a ‘small boy’.
Many of those commenting wondered if Adamu would have grabbed Tinubu the same way if he had been from another ethnic extraction.
Some of the tweeps blamed Tinubu for allowing himself to be direspected by throwing his hat into the ring instead of being contented to be a king maker.
A Twitter user, @moroccodanny22 wrote: “What do these people take Southerners for? Spits.”
Another user @Johnthevawulence tweeted: “If Tinubu had respected himself, these people would have had high regards for him. Buh emilokan has rubished himself.”
@Bunmilover looked at it from an entirely different perspective. He wrote: “Hmmm. I don’t think this is disrespect. What if he was being helped to walk?”
