Video: Any man who neglects his bedroom duties to his wife should be locked up — Actor, Ernest Obi

Ernest Obi and his wife

Nollywood actor, Ernest Obi, has reacted to the video of an Akwa Ibom lady who organized the abduction of her husband for not sleeping with her.

The actor jokingly said the woman’s reason was cogent enough to warrant locking up a man.

Obi shared a video of a confessional statement of the suspect who admitted abducting her husband for ransom because “He no dey f*ck me”, and wrote:

“Her First Reason Is The Most Cogent For Me. And If It’s True. I Support Her.

“Any Man Who Does Not Satisfy Someone’s Daughter sexually should Be Locked Up In A Room For 3 Months. What Does My Wife @eviernestobi Call It Again… HUSBANDLY DUTIES…
I Sincerely Don’t Know Where She Got Those Words From…But I Agree With It . Wholeheartedly..😁😂☺️😆
But Jokes Apart. Though I Will Never Support Kidnapping For Any Reason, I Think It’s Wrong In All Ramifications To Deprive Your Spouse And Children, The Care They Deserve. Sexual etc.
I Pray She Finds Peace.”

Mrs Joy Emmanuel is currently in police custody and will be tried in the law court by the police in Akwa Ibom for allegedly arranging the kidnap of her husband, Mr Emmanuel Ebong.

Microsecondnews had earlier reported the incident, quoting Mrs Emmanuel as saying she organized the abduction of Ebong, an indigene of Ntak Obio Akpa in Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom for starving her of sex and refusing to provide for the family.

”I did menial jobs to fend for the family. I arranged his kidnap because I needed money to take care of the family.

”Unfortunately, I was not given the ransom money after the abduction was successful,” she said.

Joy mentioned one Udo Moji, now at large, as the leader of the gang she engaged for her husband’s abduction.

She said, “They collected the money from me and never gave anything to me.  Some members of the group who were arrested while spending the money mentioned my name to the police.”

Ebong narrated how he was kidnapped at about 8.30 p.m., on July 21, shortly after he returned home.

“They took me out of my compound in a minibus. They kept me for four days and demanded the sum of N2 million as ransom.

”They took me to Etinan where they caged me. I am very fortunate that the police came on a rescue operation.

‘They collected N2 million from me. The police later recovered about N500,000 from them,” he said.
