A video of a lady telling guests who turned up for her baby shower without gifts to leave is making rounds online.
The lady, who stood beside her husband and a family member to make the announcement, said she had guests over during her wedding and some came without gifts so she doesn’t want the same thing to play out.
The announcement was greeted with laughter by the audience because they thought she was joking, but she insisted she was not joking.
A female family member standing beside her took over the microphone to claim that pregnancy hormones were taking a toll on the woman, and as such, should not be taken seriously.
However, the pregnant lady snatched the microphone back and stated that she meant what she said.
The husband, the DJ, the celebrant and the family member stood there awkwardly for a moment. The woman gave the microphone to her husband who had no word to say and then passed it to the DJ who grinned in embarrassment for a moment before snapping back and saying: “Y’all heard her.”
