Popular slay queen, Teju Pretty is in the news again, this time for being beaten and stripped naked by hair vendor Rhiks hair for owing her N150k since 2020.
Rhiks, who narrated what led to the physical fight in posts captured by LIB, said their issue began after she mistakenly sent N800k to Teju who was her brand ambassador at the time.
She said she reached out to her immediately to alert her to the error and requested her to send the money back to her. She said Teju said she had reached her limit for the day, even though it was just some minutes past 12 midnight, but that she said it was okay.
She explained that she made the mistake in the first place because Teju was on her list of beneficiaries on her account as an influencer for her products.
Rhiks said she later reached out to her that her friend would send 200k and she would send the balance by 12 am of the following day.
The next day Rhiks said she messaged Teju to send the money, but she replied with ‘Calm down, I will send the money.”
According to the hair vendor, Teju failed to fulfil her promise again and she had to keep messaging her until she sent some of the money in bits and pieces over many weeks, remaining N150k.
Rhiks said when she asked for the balance this year, Teju became rude, telling her that she used the money and would repay it later.
The hair vendor said Teju stopped opening her messages and later blocked her when she told her she would collect the money physically anywhere she saw her or she would beat her up.
When that occasion presented itself and the two met, Rhiks said she calmly requested her money and Teju asked why she was disturbing her in 2022 for money she owed since 2020.
Then the issue escalated rapidly into a fight, wherein the hair vendor stripped the influencer naked.
