A video which captured the moment Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi received a rousing welcome upon walking into the ongoing Nigeria Bar Association general conference in Lagos, has been shared online.
Peter Obi and the other most prominent presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar of PDP, Bola Tinubu of APC and Rabiu Kwankwaso of NNPP were invited to the conference.
Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar made it in person. APC’s vice presidential candidate, Shettima was also present. Bola Tinubu was not at the conference.
The NBA had earlier said Tinubu and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) – did not confirm their availability for the conference.
The 2022 NBA Annual General Conference, with the theme “Bold Transitions”, holds until August 26.
