Sierra Leone Police release photo of late Nigerian rapper Dagrin as one of those wanted for a violent protest last week

A man bearing a striking resemblance to the late Nigerian rapper, Dagrin, is wanted in Sierra Leone in connection with a violent protest last week.

The picture of the man is among many others the police in Sierra Leone released on Thursday in connection with the said protest.

The internet is agog with the development as Nigerians push the picture around.

Many argued that it must be Dagrin’s doppelganger, while some claimed it must be a case of a policeman sitting down somewhere and putting random pictures sourced online together to frame people and convince his bosses he is doing a good job.

Dagrin died from complications arising from injuries he sustained in a ghastly motor accident when he ran into a stationary truck around 3 am at Mushin in Lagos.

He died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH on Wednesday, April 22, 2010.
