Veteran journalist and presidential spokesman to former Military President Ibrahim Babangida, Chief Duro Onabule, is dead.
Chief Onabule reportedly passed on in the evening of Tuesday at the age of 83.
A close associate to Onabule’s family Eric Teniola announced the death.
Not much else is known about Chief Onabule’s death at the time of filing this report. Those who saw him a few days ago said he was hale and hearty.
Onabule was the National Editor of National Concord from 1984 to 1985 and later became Chief Press Secretary to military President Babangida.
