The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has held a meeting with the Governor of Rivers, Nyesom Wike, Benue, Samuel Ortom and others in Rivers State.
The meeting is the second time Obi would meet with Wike after dumping the PDP and declaring his presidential ambition.
Former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko announced the meeting with Obi on Twitter, adding that the meeting held yesterday night.
Others listed as being in the meeting include, former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; former Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwanbo; Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu; Mohammed Adoke and several others.
Sharing a photograph of the meeting, Mimiko wrote: “Nice to share some time last night with @GovWike @Donald_Duke @PeterObi @HEDankwambo @GovSamuelOrtom @GovernorIkpeazu, Mohammed Adoke SAN and many other friends.”
As of the time of filing this report, the aim and location of the meeting is unknown.
