One person died in an accident along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Thursday.
The crash, involving a tanker and a car, occurred in the evening on the Ibadan-bound side of the Kara bridge.
The tanker rammed the car from behind in the slow-moving traffic. The hawker was unfortunately caught in the mishap.
The occupants of the tanker and the car survived but the street hawker was killed on the spot.
The driver of the truck, who allegedly caused the accident, escaped after the incident while a man, said to be the truck driver’s assistant, was held by the driver of the car and others present.
