Dave Umahi graces son’s graduation in the UK after telling Nigerians Federal Govt cannot borrow money to pay ASUU

The son of Ebonyi State Governor, Osborn David Umahi has graduated from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom.

This is coming a few days after the governor said Nigeria could not borrow to pay the striking Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) members.

Many consider as insensitive the uploading on social media of pictures showing the governor at the foreign institution with his son and other members of his family at a time university students in Nigeria have stayed home for six months.

The governor is being accused of collaborating with the ruling elite  to destroy university education in Nigeria while sending their own children abroad for uninterrupted tertiary education.
