Two policemen have been arrested two policemen who were filmed in Ikoyi, Lagos harassing a young man over his phone.
Opeyemi Kadiri with Police ID No. 509745 trended for allegedly harassing a man hurrying to his place of work for his phone.
The man resisted the move by the policemen and reminded them that the Inspector General of Police had instructed them not to check citizens’ phones.
The policemen were reportedly summoned by the Lagos spokesperson of the police on Wednesday 4, August and handed over to the Provost for disciplinary action, pending their transfer to FHQ Abuja for further disciplinary measures.
