A man who allegedly tricked a salesgirl and made away with two iPhones has called the owner of the shop to beg him to pull down the footage he sent to social media.
The man had visited a phone shop at ROA Plaza in Arepo, Ogun State pretending to buy the phones.
Unaware that a CCTV camera was recording, the man allegedly collected the phones and asked the salesgirl to follow him to Winner’s Chapel nearby to collect the money for the phones but managed to escape.
The owner of the shop consequently put the footage of the incident on social media. See the earlier report here.
The report went viral and a family friend of the man reportedly saw it and draw his attention to it.
He has now called the owner of the shop to ask him to please pull down the CCTV footage.
He claimed to have paid the full N620,000 for the two phones.
The owner of the shop in the video of the conversation uploaded told the man he was yet to receive the alert.
