Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, is currently recuperating after undergoing major surgery.
The procedure which was carried out on his back is said to be a second operation in five months.
The former governor’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, said the surgery was in connection with a physical attack on Fayose during the 2018 Ekiti governorship election.
“Two major surgical operations within five months… One in February (Neck) and another one now (back).
“Results of the attack on him during the 2018 Ekiti governorship election.
“It can only be God. Soonest recovery Osokomole,” Olayinka wrote on his Facebook page on Tuesday.
