A purse-snatcher messed with the wrong lady in Livorno, Italy and got beaten to a stupor.
The incident happened at the parking lot of a mall in Livorno, a port city on the western coast of Tuscany, Italy.
An onlooker began recording only after the lady had chased down the purse snatcher and began punching him, so it was not known where or how the bag was snatched.
The lady, later identified as Luciana Cardoso Serra, a Brazilian bodybuilder with some knowledge of martial art, was said to be going about her business when the thief snatched her Prada handbag.
She gave him a hot pursuit, caught up with him and gave him a thorough beating which forced the thief to drop the bag on the ground.
A viral clip shows the lady punching the thief, putting him in a chokehold briefly and switch-kicking him.
A man on a Vespa pulls up but decides the lady does not need any help as she is obviously in charge of the situation. So he just looks on.
The thief is dazed as he does not throw a single punch throughout the recording.
