Actor Olanrewaju James, better known as Baba Ijesha is to spend the next five years in jail following his conviction for sexual molestation of a child.
The actor was sentenced to a total of 16 years in jail, but the years will run concurrently, amounting to five years.
A video showing the moment Kirikiri prison officials took custody of the actor so he could be processed to start serving his sentence is trending online.
Baba Ijesha was sentenced to five years imprisonment for count two, three years for count three, five years for count four and three years for count five.
This came after he was convicted of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, and attempted sexual assault in a 2-hour judgement.
He was however discharged and acquitted on count one and count six, which were: sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
