Funke Akindele confirms she will be Lagos PDP Deputy Governorship candidate (video)
Funke Akindele, aka Jenifa, has confirmed that she will be the running mate of the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor.
The actress made the announcement today, July 12, via Instagram.
She acknowledged that becoming the Deputy Governor of Lagos State means that her vibrant career would be placed on hold. She said it’s a huge sacrifice but it is one that needs to be done for the betterment of Lagos State.
