A loaded tanker fell in the Costain area of Lagos on Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses said the tanker fell while ascending the Costain bridge heading towards Iponri.
The tanker blocked the main carriageway while spilling its fuel content.
According to reports by the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency on Twitter, emergency services arrived shortly after and diverted traffic to prevent an explosion.
A video of the aftermath of the accident shows some residents scooping fuel from the pool created by the spillage.
