A couple’s marriage is starting on a rocky start after an estranged lover of the groom showed up and dropped a baby they shared in the offering bowl he was holding.
Reports indicate that the holy matrimony between Mr. Solomon Etim Usanga of Ini Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and his bride had almost been concluded when his former lover with whom he shared a baby showed up.
The lady identified as Comfort Solomon reportedly stormed the wedding venue during the thanksgiving offering wherein the husband and wife were requested to hold an offering bowl each for their well-wishers to drop their offerings.
Miss Solomon had no offering to give, but instead dumped her baby in the bowl and turned back.
It was speculated that the lady was disappointed Etim settled for someone else after their romance that produced a bouncing baby.
It was not clear if the new bride knew about the prior relationship of her man with Miss Solomon.
Some relatives of the newlywed were said to have run after the aggrieved side chick to appeal to her to come back to carry her baby while the couple tried to act like all was well.
