The driver of fast-rising singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, ran over a commercial motorcyclist (okada man) with the singer’s Range Rover on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened around Iyana Ilogbo in Ogun State in yet unclear circumstances..
It was gathered that Portable’s driver was on his way to the naming ceremony of his boss’ second child when the tragic incident occurred.
A clip of the incident shows sympathisers trying to revive the okada man, who was lifeless as he was being carried.
A lady can be heard expressing the optimism that the rider would still regain consciousness.
The bike man was later taken to the hospital where multiple sources claim he passed away.
The Range Rover is only a few months old, but has been involved in up to three accidents, twice in the hands of the owner, Portable.
The singer announced he was gifted the car on January 1, 2022.
