Lady claims it costs her over N500k to attend a wedding in Lagos

Nigerian humanitarian and media personality, Sally Suleiman, has revealed that she spent over N500,000 to attend a wedding in Lagos and wondered how socialites keep up.
She took to social media to write: “I always wondered until I attended one: Asoebi: 50k Sewing: 100k Flight: Over 150k Hotel: 150k Gele tying: 15k Makeup: 45k I didn’t include accessories, shoes and bags, logistics in Lagos. Lol.”
“It’s expensive. You would spend a minimum of 600k-3m attending an event. I can only do once or twice a year. Because it is expensive” she added.
BBNaija star, Erica Nlewedim then responded saying she spends more than the said amount and that is the reason she does not really attend events except if it is work-related or it is for family and friends.
