A younger sister of a bride has saved the day by accepting to marry the groom after the bride absconds from her wedding in Niger State.
The original wedding was set to take place, with family members of the couple already present on Friday, May 13, in New Bussa, Niger State, when they noticed that the bride was nowhere to be found.
When the bride’s friends were questioned, they revealed that the bride had hinted at going somewhere to hide for a while because she was not interested in getting married.
According to Borgu Online, the family members of the bride were then reported to have held a secret meeting immediately and later on invited the family of the groom to offer a proposition that the younger sister of the bride was willing to marry the groom.
Both families agreed that the wedding would continue with the bride’s younger sister as the new bride.
The groom’s family members were said to have confirmed that the younger sister was willing to step into her sister’s shoes and the wedding commenced.
The replacement bride is said to be happy with her “God-given husband.”
