
A female student of the Ahmadu Bello University has been freed by soldiers after she has spent a year and a half in Boko Haram’s captivity.
Her coursemate, Godwin Tanko, took to his social media handle to celebrate the release of the student identified as Becky Inuwa.
He wrote: “Today I’m celebrating life, I’ve shed tears of joy for this news, this is my course mate in ABU, Becky Inuwa, who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists for over 1½ years but has been rescued by our great Nigerian Army.
