Nigerian man takes live music band to Fidelity Bank branch to protest questionable debit (Video)
A man is currently trending due to his unusual protest against a branch of Fidelity Bank for allegedly refusing to reverse a questionable debit.
The man had a full band, complete with a drum set, guitars and backup singers stationed directly in front of the bank.
The video shows him pacing back and forth in front of the bank ranting against their services.
The chorus consists simply of “Ole” (thief) repeated over and over again. The lead vocalist (suspected to be the aggrieved person) can be seen facing the bank and making the gesture of outstretched open palm ‘Uwanka/Ubanka’ (Your Mama/Papa) Nigerian street abuse, while he repeats “Fidelity, your Papa!”
A couple of the band members can be seen holding up placards announcing their grievances.
The protest attracted a modest crowd of curious onlookers while the band sang and danced.
The exact location of the recording was not indicated.
