Portable escapes arrests after police showed up where he was spraying Naira notes

Musician, popularly known as Portable, nearly landed in trouble with the police in Asaba on Saturday after he was seen throwing Naira into the air.

It was gathered that the musician arrived in Asaba on Saturday, April 16th 2022 and was immediately recognized by some young people who converged on him.

It was gathered that Portable dived into his car to get bundles of 200 Naira notes and threw some in the air to create a diversion for him to get away.

He was still at it when a team of policemen reportedly accosted him for abusing the country’s legal tender.

The musician can be heard in a now-viral video explaining to the police what happened and why he did what he did.

The police men who appeared not to know who he was had apparently thought he was a Yahoo boy (fraudsters).

They however left him when they realized who he was.

He can be seen throwing more money in the air for the youths to scramble for.
