Awka resident laments desertion of the street by people because of Kanu’s court appearance today

A resident of Awka, Anambra State has taken to the social media to lament the desertion of the streets by residents fearing for their safety as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) makes his court appointment today.

The resident recorded a major, usually busy highway about noon today and lamented that the road was bare of vehicular and human traffic simply because Kanu was to appear in court.
