A video is trending showing the moment a shoplifter had instant karma while attempting to steal a bottle of wine from a retail store.
The clip from the store’s CCTV showed the moment the thief, accompanied by an accomplice made for the wine section and stole a bottle of wine while his friend watched out.
He apparently forgot how heavy the wine was, as the bottle fell through his pants where he thrust it and landed on the floor, breaking into pieces.
The sound of the broken bottle drew attention and the two thieves tried to hurry out of the place. In his hurry to escape, the thief’s legs slipped on the wet floor and he landed on his rump.
He scrambled to labouriously to his feet and disappeared out of the camera view.
