It was another harrowing experience for motorists on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Sunday night as a gas tanker exploded at the Mowe, Ogun State part of the busy road.
The incident happened around 10 pm and immediately resulted in chaotic traffic gridlock.
It is not clear how it happened yet, but it was learnt that road safety, security operatives and other rescue workers were mobilised to the location.
All an eyewitness could say was that the said the tanker caught fire near a First Bank building located along the Mowe area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
