A man and a woman have been found dead inside a car at Aseese, Ogun State part of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The car, a Toyota Sienna, with tinted glass, had remained parked on the same spot opposite NASFAT Islamic Centre for two days when curious residents went close to peep inside it and found the couple who are said to be both naked.
The car was locked from inside and still had the key in the ignition at the time it was filmed by residents and passersby.
The couple found inside the car were believed to have been having sex before they gave up the ghost, judging from the condition under which they were found in the car.
It remained unclear what led to their death, but there were speculations the car might have had a carbon monoxide leakage issue. With such a leakage, staying inside the car for an extended period of time with the window glasses wound up might have caused the death of the occupants.
Some others suggested it might be ‘magun’, although, ‘magun’ a traditional charm that is used to punish infidelity, typically affects only the man.
The person who uploaded the video online called for anyone who recognises the car to contact the Mowe/Ibafo police station with the information.
