A trending video clip has shown the moment an armed robbery operation was abruptly suspended when a gas cylinder landed on the head of the robber.
CCTV footage shows the moment two robbers arrive on a motorcycle. While one waits on the running motorcycle, the other pulls a pistol on a crew offloading gas cylinders in front of what appears to be a gas plant.
The armed robber focuses on the men on the ground near the truck loaded with gas cylinders. He is demanding all valuables on them and in the truck.
A worker who was passing cylinders to his mates from the top of the high truck before the armed robbers arrived sees what is happening below, but the robber is unaware he is there.
Seizing the moment, the worker mounted on the back of the truck lifts one of the cylinders and throws it on the robber. It lands on his head and he crashes to the ground.
Other workers, watching the incident with fear from afar spring into action and rush forward. The robber scrambles to his feet and flees in the direction of his mate on the motorcycle who has also taken off. The cash he just collected from the workers drop on the ground as he struggles to escape.
