A boy who appeared to be in his early teen years, has been caught after he allegedly stabbed his mother in a bid to use her for money rituals.
The cry of the mother allegedly attracted neighbours who rushed there to find the boy holding bloodied knife, according to viral reports on social media.
The mother is said to be alive, but unconscious at the hospital she was rushed to.
A video clip making the rounds shows the boy being bound with a chain by someone who was scolding the boy.
A voice in the background said the boy was lucky that there were security people around to rescue him from being mobbed to death.
