A rally has reportedly been held for the National Leader of the All Progressives Party (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinuby in Rivers State.
The rally, reportedly coordinated by politician, Magnus Abe, in Elele community in Ikwerre LGA, Rivers State, attracted a mammoth crowd.
The pictures reportedly taken at the rally were shared on Twitter by Abdullahi Adeleke Arije Al-hamdaany.
He wrote: “A massive rally in support of the aspiration of APC national Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Elele community in Ikwerre LGA, Rivers State”
Online reactions have been mixed. One person with the handle Felimax noted that mass turnout at a rally did not mean anything. Citing the mammoth crowds at Abubakar Atiku’s rallies and his eventual loss, he argued that with so much hunger in the land, people will turn up at any rally in the hope of getting some handouts but would go to the polling booths on election day to vote differently.
“See, if Tinubu does a rally in Port Harcourt I must be there because I must collect free money but I know he won’t get my vote,” he declared.
