A woman has recounted her horrific experience after her car broke down at the foot of the 3rd Mainland Bridge.
Telling her story on Twitter, lady Soka Agu, said six guys lept on the road the moment her car stopped working at the foot of the 3rd Mainland Bridge and asked her and her friend for money.
She said they collected all the money they found on them, disconnected her car battery, and threatened to beat them up.
Not satisfied the cash they found on them, they reportedly brought a POS machine to collect more money.
“Cars were speeding past as this was going on but no one stopped to help,” she wrote.
She said once they collected the money, they returned their phones and told her they were not thieves, only that she was supposed to “settle them”.
Agu said the boys helped them to fix the car and left with the money they stole from her and her friend.
