The picture of the 11-year-old junior student whose throat was slit by an SS2 student of a Borno boarding school, has been shared online.
The SS2 student of the Elkanemi College of Islamic Theology in Maiduguri, Borno State, has been identified as Umar Goni, and it was gathered that he slit the throat of his victim identified as Jibrin Sadi Ramadan with a razor during an encounter behind the hostel of the school on Wednesday night January 19.
The victim, who was attacked for refusing to run an errand, was found unconscious and in a pool of his blood at the backyard of their hostel.
He was rushed to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
The victim, identified as Ramadan, is still in critical condition in the hospital.
