Bandits strike on Lagos-Ibadan Exp again, nearly captured Nollywood actress Adebimpe Akintunde
Armed bandits struck at the Oni gaari area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway again, shooting directly at passing vehicles.
Nollywood actress, Actress Adebimpe Akintunde and her daughter, who were on their way to Lagos, nearly ran into their ambush, but were lucky to escape by reversing and following one-way back to Ibadan.
The incident happened around the same Oni Gaari area of the expressway where some passengers were abducted and their driver shot dead last week. Read the report here.
Also, in August last year, a United Kingdom-based woman, Bolanle Aworetan Omojuwa, was shot dead by armed bandits on the same Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, around Guru Maharajji camp. Read that report here.
