Singer Teni the Entertainer has cleared the air on the rumoured attempt to kidnap her at a show in Port Harcourt, Rivers state on Sunday, January 2.
The show was abruptly ended when gunshots were heard. Some eyewitnesses claimed it was an attempt to kidnap the singer.
The police in a statement released almost immediately dismissed the claims. They noted that some miscreants had attempted to cause a fight at the venue and that the security agents at the venue fired gunshots to wade off violence. Read here.
In a new update, Teni via her Instastories on Monday evening also stated that it was a fight backstage that led to a stampede.
