A disaster was averted in a community in Kogi State when a married man locked in a sexual encounter with his equally married lover fell off during their tryst and started behaving strangely.
According to a Vanguard correspondent, the incident happened in Igobe Compound of Yagbawest LGA of Kogi.
Quoting an eyewitness, the publication recounted that the married man made an appointment for sex with the lady, who is married to another man.
While they were making love, the man was said to have suddenly shouted and started convulsing, as a result of which the lady called for help.
Community members attributed the man’s plight to ‘magun’ (local charm placed on women to check adultery) and called in a local medicine man who reportedly gave the man something to drink before he regained his composure.
The woman at the centre of the episode reportedly denied being laced with ‘magun’ especially because her husband knew she ‘hustled’ other men to get the money that she spent on the household.
However, she was made to understand that any of her other boyfriends who is jealous could have laced her with ‘magun’.
