‘You should’ve sold your kidneys before killing yourself’- Friend chastised man who committed suicide in Jos (photo)
A student of Plateau State University has committed suicide after posting a suicide note on Facebook.
Nanshak Christopher Moris, known simply as Chris among friends, posted on Facebook on Sunday evening.
He asked God to bless some people who helped him through life. He then asked God for forgiveness.
“The world is a bad place,” he added.
He killed himself on Monday, Dec. 13.
According to friends who commented below his post, the student ingested poison to kill himself.
Many of the friends were not happy with him to taking his own life. One accused him of being callous, causing his family pain and sorrow.
A photo of his body was shared by a friend as they mourned him. It shows him with a white substance at the top of his mouth. The deadly substance he allegedly consumed stained his white shirt too.
Duc Dinh wrote: ‘Hope you dropped money for your funeral before leaving, guy. Ungrateful you!”
He was cautioned by another friend that the dead should not be judged, especially as the Bible enjoined Christians not to judge others.
Duc would have none of that as he responded that the Bible forbids Christians to kill themselves and that whoever kills himself will go to hell.
“He should have sold his kidneys and dropped the money for his loved ones or donated it to save souls. This Chris is very stupid…” he wrote.
