Fast-rising female disk jockey, DJ Michelle, has resurfaced 24 hours after her friends claimed water carried her away during a beach outing on Thursday.
A man who lived by the beach is credited with rescuing her 24 hours after she went missing.
The DJ had gone to the beach with her friends on Thursday, Nov. 18, and she was swept away by the water strong waves, according to her friends and family.
People mourned her on their social media handles the whole of yesterday, Nov. 19, but, by the evening, news broke that she had been found alive 24 hours after she reportedly vanished in the water.
The man credited with rescuing her was interviewed at the site as friends and family swarmed around the lady DJ.
The rescuer spoke in Yoruba that he was going to observe his morning prayer when he noticed her in the water.
He said he had passed where she was in the water but his mind told him to go back. He did and that was when he found her and rescued her.
He said he noticed that she was still breathing and then performed CPR on her to revive her.
However, many people online found the story incredible. Some argue there was no way the waves could have carried her for 24 hours and she would still be alive.
Many are accusing her of clout-chasing outright.
