A passenger has been arrested after he destroyed facilities worth thousands of naira at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
The passenger was enraged because he missed his EgyptAir flight.
Microsecondnews learnt that the man was to travel on EgyptAir flight to Cairo but came to the airport when the check-in counter had closed.
He was reportedly told to reschedule his flight as their counter had been closed, but the burly passenger flew into a rage and started smashing every glass in sight.
Some security officials rushed at him and prevented him from doing further damage. He was subsequently taken away.
The video of the scene shared online showed the moment the man went berserk, smashing fragile facilities at the airport.
Someone in the background could be heard asking for the passenger to be handcuffed lest he hurt anyone.
Another was heard saying that they had been begging the man to return home and reschedule his flight to no avail.
