The Ahmadiyya/Ijaye Ojokoro part of the Lagos Abeokuta Expressway has been submerged by flood following the downpour of today, Sunday, November 14, 2021.
It was completely unpassable at some point. The few vehicles who braved it were stuck as water flowed freely into their engine.
The incident caused untold hardship for motorists and commuters as they had to park and wait for the floodwater to recede.
Many commuters came down from commercial vehicles and resorted to trekking.
