Apparently in a bid to continue to own the narrative, Tiwa Savage has declared that she enjoyed the ‘action’ between her and her partner as depicted in the sex tape that has now gone viral.
Performing at the ‘Eko On Show’ festival, Tiwa Savage spent the first few minutes on stage prancing up and down and singing a special song that eulogised the prowess of her partner in the video, hinting that it was a mind-blowing experience, in apparent defiance of the blackmailer who leaked the sex tape.
‘Eko on show’ festival was held at the Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island by the Lagos state government as part of the activities marking Nigeria’s independence.
Tiwa Savage, who looked unruffled, performed shortly after the ‘koko master’ D’banj rocked the stage. At some point, she made a gesture similar to what D’banj usually makes on stage, which is a coy reference to the phallus. That seemed to excite her listeners who shouted wildly.
She then treated the audience, which included top government officials to her single ’49-99’. She also performed some of her classics. The highlight of her performance was when she pulled off her heels to entertain her fans with the popular leg work dance which thrilled guests at the show.
She closed with her latest hit song ’Somebody’s son’ featuring American singer Brandy.
Recall that Tiwa also posted on her social media handle a message that seemed directed at the person who released the tape.
She posted on her Instagram page on Monday: “You hated how I was able to control the narrative and get ahead of a story before it consumed me and how I was able to joke on stage about something you thought will destroy me and make me ashamed.
“You must knock my head when you see me, otherwise….”
Recall that the afrobeat star had alerted the public weeks ago that someone was trying to blackmail her with her sex tape which her lover accidentally uploaded on Snapchat and deleted immediately. She said a stalker got hold of the video before it was deleted and was trying to get her to pay otherwise the person would release it.
She declared then that she would not pay the requested money.
On Monday the sex tape was released and has sent social media on overdrive.
