Rapper, Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI Abaga, has sent tongues wagging after he shared a video of himself riding in a tricycle, locally known locally as Keke NAPEP.

Abaga shared the video on his Instagram Stories. The video showed the popular rapper wearing a facemask while seated behind the tricycle operator. He panned the phone camera to show the road ahead and other vehicles on the road he was travelling on.

MI Abaga captioned the video clip:

“How did I get here in my career? Pride? Selfishness? Stubbornness?”

He did not speak in the video. Neither did he add any more information.

The clip has got his followers arguing what could really be happening to the once successful musician. Many wonder if he is truly passing through hard times warranting his moving around in tricycles instead of his many flashy cars or he is playing some pranks.

Abaga is arguably one of the most successful rappers Nigeria has had, but he has not really been enjoying as much limelight as he had become accustomed to in his career.

At a point, no big concert was complete without MI. In addition, he had a number of huge endorsement deals, including being a Brand Ambassador of Nigeria’s second-largest telecommunications company, Globacom.

There are so many young musicians out there these days enjoying the love of the listening public.
