A video has emerged of a female Army officer, identified as Lt. Chika Viola Anele, dehumanizing a female corpse member serving in a barrack in Calabar, Cross River State.
The video shows the female corper kneeling down and the army officer pouring filthy water on her head.
She was scooping the water from a bucket with a bowl and pouring it on the head of the lady corper, whose clothes immediately became muddied.
At some point, the officer struck the head of the corper with the bowl.
The corper was identified as Ezeiruaku Ifeyinwa Fidelia, serving at the 13 Brigade headquarters in Calabar.
She was said to have earlier had an argument with the officer who thereafter decided to punish her for her effrontery.
It was gathered that the matter had been escalated to the leadership of the 13 Brigade, but no visible action has been seen from them since the case was reported.
