Update: NSCDC confirms deportation of Beninese man, mother arrested for incest in Kwara
The Benin Republic immigrant, Fati Sime and her son, Adamu, who were arrested for incest in Kwara State, have been deported.
The mother and son were arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) after the district head of Mose community in Kaima Local Government Area of the state raised an alarm over the incestuous relationship.
Kwara NSCDC spokesperson, Babawale Afolabi confirmed that Fati gave birth to three children for her son.
Further checks showed that Fati already had 11 children for her husband (Adamu’s father) before bearing three for Adamu.
It was also gathered that Fati was also sleeping with her younger son identified as Boni, who is now at large.
Afolabi, who confirmed the latest development to Daily Trust, said Fati and her son have been deported.
He said Fati and her first son, Adamu, were deported with the directive of the Commandant after they were investigated. He said they were handed over to the Benin Republic operatives at the border.
“But during the investigation, the first son, Adamu confessed that he has been having carnal knowledge of his mother for seven years,” Afolabi said.
Meanwhile, more details have emerged on the incestuous relationship between Fati and her two sons.
According to a source, who is well acquainted with the development, trouble started when Fati was caught by her first son, Adamu, having sex with her second son, Boni, in their farm.
“The discovery of Adamu’s younger brother having carnal knowledge of his wife (mother) right on the farm degenerated to a serious fight between the brothers which later attracted the attention of other farmers around,” the source told Daily Trust.
“This later led to the arrest of Adamu and Fati by the operatives of the NSCDC in Moshe Gada outpost in Kaiama. Boni, however, escaped and he is still at large.” the source added.
