Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Cross has explained why he lost Saskay to Jaypaul.
According to him, Jaypaul pursued Saskay more diligently than him and eventually wore her defence down.
He told Pere and Jackie B in a discussion, after Sunday eviction show where the show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu rubbed it in that Saskay kissed Jaypaul, that he stopped trying to get Saskay’s attention once she told him that she did not want to be attached to any man in the house.
Ebuka had while commending Jaypaul for emerging Head of House alongside Jackie B, teased the duo by asking which was more rewarding, winning the head of house or kissing Saskay.
Cross was apparently surprised to learn that Saskay kissed Jaypaul.
He said jocularly, “They are running me street. They are kissing under my very nose. But it’s okay.”
“I didn’t know they’ll run me street for this life, but it’s okay.”
He explained that Jaypaul was diligent in pursuit of Saskay until he broke down her walls. I didn’t know she’ll give room for that. I am someone that when you tell me ‘no’, I will respect it.
“We talked about it last week and agreed but I didn’t know they’ve stepped it up to the next level,” he said.
