Bandits have returned five among the 73 kidnapped students of Government Day Secondary School Kaya in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
It would be recalled that 73 students of the institution were kidnapped on Wednesday.
A former councilor of Kaya ward, Yahaya Kaya, disclosed to The Punch that five of the abducted students were released on Thursday.
Kaya said his daughter, Amina, was among the students released by the bandits.
He said the five students were taken back to their hometown Kaya, around 01am on Thursday.
He disclosed that they were all in good health.
