A 28-year-old woman, Bahijja Abubakar, stabbed to death by her teenage neighbour has been laid to rest in Kano state.
Bahijja was killed by a 17-year old girl, Aisha Kabiru, in Shekar Maidaki Quarters, Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano state on Thursday, August 19.
The suspect confessed she had a misunderstanding with the deceased, resulting in physical confrontation.
The matter was settled between them. However, the suspect, who was still seething with rage, took a sharp knife and stabbed Bahijja at the back of her neck which resulted in her death.
The teenager thereafter went into hiding.
